« Barcelona - a huge city, a treasure trove of interesting places, and breathtaking landmarks. 😍📸 It's impossible to see everything on foot; you'll need a lot of time and energy for that. A ticket will be essential. 🧳
There are several ways to explore more! 🗺️
1️⃣ An open-top hop-on-hop-off bus. 🚍 You can buy a ticket for one day or two. There are several routes, and in one day, you will barely manage to see everything, even on the bus. A ticket for one day costs around €30. 💶 You can hop on and off, using it to get around the city.
2️⃣ Rent a bike. 🚲 In my opinion, this is the best option. If you’re not interested in listening to an audio guide with tons of information and just want to enjoy the scenery, this is your choice. In our case, the bike rental was about €10 a day, but it's important to look around and choose, as there are many options available. 🚴♂️ Barcelona has around 100 km of bike paths, and the infrastructure is top-notch! Here, everyone rides bikes, even men in suits. Don't miss out!
3️⃣ Public transportation, like metro. 🚇 It's also convenient for getting around. You can buy a ticket for 10 rides for about €10, which is a great price for Europe. However, the downside is that it's mostly underground, so you won't see the streets or many attractions. 😤
The choice is yours. How do you prefer to get around during your travels? »

Let me just list a few things: I saw many snakes, and I dared to get closer, but then I realized that one of them was right next to me, and I started to freak out 😭😭😭. I was trembling and begged to be taken away from there 😂😂😂 (it seems funny now, but back then I had no idea what to do. I was just terrified of them).
A ticket costs €24 per person. 💰
Last year in Prague, we basically saw nothing but birds and a few seals, since in winter there are almost no animals to see there. I was worried it would be the same in Barcelona, but fortunately, everything was alive and well!

However, do not go to the aquarium – I'm advising you not to. A ticket there is €20, but honestly, you won't see much. We walked around for half an hour and didn't find anything interesting, except for some octopuses, which we already saw in Greece. »
Spain brought me quite a few challenges with flights and accommodation, but overall, it’s a lovely country. It's cheaper to relax here than in Italy, and the climate is milder. Many told me I would fall in love with Barcelona, but I fell for Madrid. I would gladly stay there longer. What a beautiful city❤️
In 6 days, I spent $250. »
Checked in at a spot recommended by Instagram. Had a delicious meal, chatted with some folks, found parking for 16 dollars and I'm happy. Here’s a picture of mandarins and a fountain — one of the underrated beauties of Barcelona, which is all wonderful. And you are too!
Tomorrow we're heading along the coast. »
