« Santiago might not make the list of favorite cities, but one of its perks is that during summer (which is winter in our hemisphere), it can get quite hot during the day, around 86-95°F (30/35°C), but it always cools down at night thanks to the nearby mountains. »

« Chile, Santiago. The Chilean capital is located in a secluded basin at the foot of the Andes. The climate in the valley is very similar to a Mediterranean one. However, the weather in the high mountains is quite different from that at the foot, so it's not that often you get the chance to see both the city and the peaks behind it at the same time. »

« We were "lucky" with the weather... :((( It was very overcast, and we could only see a small, nearby part of the city... I really wanted to see the mountains... »

« Santiago greets with an unusual sky and temperatures around 40 degrees Fahrenheit at night. »

« In Santiago, temperature fluctuations are quite significant due to the surrounding mountains. In the morning, it can be as low as 43°F, while during the day it can soar to 77°F. Without the sun, the chill in the shade can be quite uncomfortable ❄️. If you're arriving during the Chilean summer, don't assume you won't need a warm sweater! Now, in May, as winter approaches in Chile, the weather still treats us to sunny days and warm sunshine! However, those sunny days are becoming fewer and fewer. »

« Santiago is a city of churches. They are literally everywhere. It's a church mega. Very beautiful and very wet (it’s always raining). »

« In Santiago, it seems to rain all the time. I’ve lost count—sometimes the sun comes out, and then it pours again. No one pays much attention to it, and people don’t bother to hide from the rain. What an amazing city. »

« Palms look completely out of place in this cold weather. :) »

« Today, the sky was heavy and gray, but it added a special charm to the city. I'd come back here when it's summer. :) »

« It's cloudy right now, and we're experiencing the worst smog in the last 16 years. Still, it feels somehow easier to breathe up here... »
