« I'm not sure if I should share my views on traveling to Armenia. It turned out to be quite interesting, and many of my friends have been asking me, "Is it worth visiting?" Absolutely, it's worth it, even just for three days. Ideally, you might want to spend four. You should definitely try to experience the beautiful scenery and the unique culture here.
The food is rich, and the atmosphere is warm, making you feel connected to the Armenian heritage. If you get the chance to enjoy the local dishes, you'll be in for a treat!
• Dining out is surprisingly affordable compared to what you might find in Europe or other major cities. For instance, our bill for 4 glasses of dry Armenian wine, 2 regular appetizers, a large portion of kebab, and an order of lavash came to about $60.
I recommend these restaurants: Caucasian Plateful, and Pandok Yerevan (which is also known as Tavern Yerevan). The flavors are delightful and varied—like 2 tubes of traditional lavash for just $0.57!
• As for excursions, I can’t give a price on that since we rented a car for just $10 and spent the entire day visiting spots like Khor Virap, the Temple of Zvartnoc, and Lake Sevan. You should allocate enough time to explore. So, set aside a full day for that adventure.
It’s also worth taking a day to just wander around Yerevan. On your first day, try to hike up to the Cascade—go as far as your energy allows.
• Public transport is quite accessible. Just be mindful of the strict rules on the roads. However, it feels super safe.
So overall, coming to this sunny and hospitable country is a fantastic idea. You'll definitely have a great time! 🌞 »
« Mount Ararat, a symbol of Armenia, is not shown to everyone. It didn’t appear for us, despite the sunny weather. We decided to go on an excursion to the Ararat cognac factory in Yerevan. 😌 The excursion was super interesting, and I won't describe it all here. You should experience it for yourself; you'll find out and enjoy it all! 😌 »
« I don't know why, but Armenia 🇦🇲 is not very popular among tourists compared to Georgia 🇬🇪. Just take a look at the beauty here! ❤️
The monastery complex Noravank 🏰, established in 1105. The most unusual thing is that you can access its hall through a very narrow staircase, and surprisingly, there are not many tourists, so not everyone can manage it. 😉 »
« The gifts of Armenia are absolutely divine! 😍 The taste of fruits, vegetables, greens, and nuts is simply heavenly! Spring is just around the corner, so come and indulge yourself with vitamins. ☀️🤗🍇🌿 »
« This is Yerevan! For almost 2800 years, it could have been more interesting, although, as we learned, it has a complicated history, having been destroyed and rebuilt many times. »
« Home is not enough, I’ll drink everything here with my friend! And an obligatory point of our journey - the **ARARAT** Museum!! 😍 We crossed a bridge, went up some steep steps to the mountain, relaxed, enjoying a piece of everyday Yerevan with its simple and ordinary scenery... and suddenly we found paradise!! ☀️ I’ve never seen a more colorful museum!! With so much love for the drink, its history, and traditions!! Everything for guests and visitors!! And of course, the tasting was delicious 😉 I highly recommend visiting!! It's a place where you can learn and try many new and interesting things, unwind from the hustle and relax with a glass of this sunny drink!! »
« Sunny Yerevan is a feast for the eyes. A beautiful city, remarkable atmosphere, and friendly people. I hope to return here again. 😎 »
« This place is just unreal for energy rejuvenation!!! I was feeling drained, but after visiting, I really recharged 🌟 The vibes inside are incredible, and I felt so much better after! The beauty of this place is just out of this world 🤩 »
« Goodbye, Yerevan! We had a great time with you! »
« Perfect evening))) shashlik, beer, crayfish, and Armenian hospitality))) It's the third day in Armenia and we've been constantly gifted and treated to meals)) Maybe the warmest country I've ever visited))) »
« I really liked this Yerevan... »
« Fountains in Yerevan are everywhere! And each one evokes a sea of emotions! 😊 »
