« Mongolia... this is a place you absolutely must visit. There are many attractions here, but the most stunning are the Gorkhi-Terkh National Park (the dinosaur park) and the statue of Genghis Khan. 😍 »

« Walking around here feels like being in a totally different universe, especially with the anime festival happening. Of course, the prices are quite reflective of the local scene, with entry fees for most activities being around $15, while some cosplay seems to be straightforward cardboard and glue. Participants often pose in character and then sneak away (like, they just disappear into the scene – it's like magic). But the cool thing is that there is a genuine cosplay and comic subculture present. It might even be one of the first of its kind in the area.

And here’s a fun fact – anime isn't in vogue just yet, unlike in some places where it's super mainstream. Instead, you'll find that characters from Disney and Hollywood films are a lot more popular here – it's really quite exotic! When do you ever get to see a Mongolian cross between Jack and a character in anime? »

« Wow, this is simply breathtaking! I'm in awe. Just for the sake of this 26-meter tall statue of the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara — "Mergen Janraisaig," you must visit Ulaanbaatar. It's powerful and impressive! »

« I want to mention that Ulaanbaatar is a really vibrant city. Life here buzzes day and night! There are roads full of traffic, crowds of people hustling everywhere... a mix of modern skyscrapers and colorful buildings. It's worth taking a look at the stunning landscapes and mountains surrounding the city, which is breathtaking and never fails to amaze. 😌 »

« Hey there! I took a trip for two days out into the wild. The whole point was to enjoy a rugged adventure. And boy, it was wild... like really remote, somewhere in the hills. Incredible nature! First off, the forests were absolutely stunning!!! Secondly, the accommodations were a bit basic. I already mentioned before that there are yurt options available, which are nice. Thirdly, in the center, there’s some kind of outdoor kitchen setup. This place is quite well-secluded, with a small fireplace for preparing national dishes. The entire area reminds me of a football field covered in freshly cut grass.

For me, it felt a bit strange. But for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the wild mongolian lifestyle, it’s definitely an experience worth having, even if it’s a bit rustic. 🌿✨ »

« I had an amazing day exploring Chinggis Khaan! 😄 Despite the 6-hour transfer and the time difference, every moment was worth it. Chinggis Khaan is located about 54 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar and stands in the area of the Tuul River. According to legend, Chinggis Khaan found a symbol of success here — a golden statue that helped him unite the Mongolian people.

The magnificent statue stands 40 meters tall and is situated on a pedestal that's 10 meters high, with a diameter of 30 meters.✨ »
