« On the Azure Coast, there are two marinas: Monaco and St. Tropez. Most tourists come here just to see the luxurious yachts and cars and feel the depth of their own poverty! ๐
Only after this can you call the life of regular people normal. ๐
We also couldn't resist and enjoyed our modest luxury.
The main entertainment in Monaco is to take pictures next to a Ferrari or at the far end of a Rolls-Royce (even if this is less impressive) around the Casino. Bright cars - the line is long! ๐

Secondly, stroll along the waterfront and take a look at the "exhibition" of yachts. The yachts are huge, motorized masterpieces. Here, the rich and famous park their luxury toys. โ
And they did it! ๐
Given the rumors that "people actually live here," we chose the most secluded spot with a view of the sea and splurged on the most expensive lunch of our lives! To be fair, the kitchen and service were top-notch! โ

On the way back, we discovered another attraction: you get to navigate the narrow mountain paths of Monte-Carlo with Bentleys and Rolls-Royces, which also seems to capture the essence of luxury! ๐
When we arrived in St. Tropez, it turned out to be a charming little town, like everything in the Provence region. Cute houses, narrow streets, cozy cafes, and the atmosphere of a quintessential resort.
Instead of souvenir shops and stores selling trinkets and T-shirts, you have Cavalli, Lui Vuitto, and Dior! At the exclusive Dior boutique, a security guard in a black suit likely would not have let us in! ๐
The waterfront is lined with gigantic motor yachts. And you can feel the presence of a small fleet of luxury vessels at anchor.
Thereโs a cafรฉ along the waterfront bustling with people. The atmosphere is lively. Party time. Awesome! We ordered cocktails with a view of the yachts, and we happily settled on one available table in a street bar!
Without even looking at the menu, we ordered water, apricot-spritz, and white wine. And we started discussing which yacht was better. The waiter seemed to be in disbelief! ๐
For three glasses of water (without snacks or even a mere amuse-bouche), we paid 60 euros. But living beautifully should not be forbidden! ๐
Considering how much one should earn to spend this summer here, we decided to bypass this pricey area and headed to a charming Arabian quarter in Arles! ๐
And if you ever wanted to experience such luxury and enjoy some time in Cannes? ๐ »
