« Another tour we took in Bangkok was the canal and Chao Phraya River tour. This tour is great for seeing the city from the water, and it’s cooler by the water. The water in the canals and river is really murky (they say it’s from the motor boats), but that doesn’t bother the local kids, who are happily splashing around. From the water, you can see temples, skyscrapers, and tiny houses of the locals. Plus, you can even feed catfish with bread. Some of those catfish are pretty huge!

To be honest, this tour didn’t impress me much. Maybe it was because we had already seen some of the temples and palaces, or because the weather was gloomy, or perhaps it was because we were taken to some lone Thai lady on a boat selling souvenirs instead of the promised floating market. »

« This is the floating market in Bangkok. It's located at the pier in the old city. It's not quite the same as it used to be; some of the canals have been filled in. Tourists get a lot of excitement watching the vendors compete with each other, trying all sorts of ways to grab attention. Many Thais are dressed in traditional costumes, which adds to the picturesque scene. In fact, there are several water markets in Bangkok. You can also visit the floating market in Chachoengsao province, which is mainly frequented by locals looking to buy fresh produce. »

« Visiting Bangkok and not exploring Chinatown just doesn't feel right. That's what I read in an article about Bangkok's attractions, so we went for a stroll in this vibrant neighborhood. Roasted chestnuts, scorpions, and even worms - they have it all! 😄 »

« Here it is, the main party spot in Bangkok - Khao San Road. All the fun of the city is packed into this place, every day and night! 🎉✨ »
