« Part of Salzburg 🏰
I started writing and realized that I was feeling deja vu 😳
If you’ve read about Bratislava, the key moments are the same.
The city center is quite small, but it’s recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
On the main shopping street - Getreidegasse, you can find the most elegant window displays of macaron shops 🥮
You definitely have to hike up to the fortress Hohensalzburg 🏰 It’s more convenient and faster to do this with a funicular, but for some reason, it wasn’t working that day 🤷‍♀️, so, actually, it’s better to walk up to the main entrance to the fortress for a base fee of 7€ per person, which includes entry to two museums (one of them has an audio guide in English).
And the most important thing you should know, or rather, that you must know, is that Salzburg is the birthplace of the greatest Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 🎼
If you have questions about Austria or Slovakia (just in case) - definitely ask!
And next, I’ll share about another country. »

« And now they're going to climb up on foot)) thinking they're saving €12 on the funicular, but in reality, they'll spend €8 for a hike up a steep hill. »

« My view from the tent :) 13.50 euros and I'm super happy! 😊 »

« The view from the restaurant is decent. But the food is disappointing :(((( as usual, everything is beautifully described, but it tastes like total nonsense. The prices are pretty steep too. I wouldn’t recommend going to m32. »

« The celebration in the main square of Salzburg was a sight to behold. The locals mostly dressed in traditional attire, with men donning incredibly expensive embroidered suede shorts and women in colorful cotton dresses, ruffled blouses, and vests. We quickly embraced the vibe and picked up a farmer's hat, blending in with the holidaymakers. Just yesterday, I came across beautifully crafted items full of local flair – they looked nothing like clown costumes and are quite wearable in everyday life. However, the price left me speechless... 1,700 dollars for a suede jacket, albeit gorgeous! 😩 »

« Grossglockner is the final point of the mountain serpentine. From there, there are hiking trails ranging from an hour and a half to five and a half hours. Hiking and cycling are really popular in Austria. A couple of days ago, we did a one-and-a-half-hour route ourselves) and we nearly collapsed climbing the steep mountain. The entrance to the Grossglockner road costs 36 dollars per car, but it’s totally worth it! The road is well-maintained, with plenty of pull-offs for admiring the views and benches. Pure delight! 🌄❤️ »

« If you're really in a pinch, there's a vending machine in the restroom at the gas station with inflatable dolls, and it's got a fresh collection from 2013-2014. Only 2€. 😊 »
