Parc du Cinquantenaire
Parc du Cinquantenaire, located in the Etterbeek district of Brussels, is a grand architectural park originally commissioned for the 1880 National Exhibition. One of its most notable features is the triumphal arch, which stands 50 meters tall and commemorates Belgium's independence. The park serves not only as a picturesque green space but also hosts several important museums, such as the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History. In spring, particularly in April, the park bursts into color with blooming flowers, making it a lovely spot for a leisurely stroll. Visitors can enjoy walking paths, picnic areas, and various events that take place throughout the year, enhancing the park's vibrant atmosphere.
