Nearby, there's a restaurant serving fresh fish at outrageous prices. A tiny piece of fish costs around 14 euros. The other dishes are even pricier. With such a big menu, we decided that fish wasn’t really what we wanted since good old potatoes are definitely more delicious. 😊 »
The chubby and elderly Mr. Savvas, the owner of the winery, personally greets all the guests while dining with his friends on the porch of the Sterna winery museum. It’s like a fairy tale! 😊 The winery is located above ancient springs and 30 caves that are over 3000 years old, where wine is still aged and stored. The dark caves maintain a temperature of 15-16°C year-round, which is perfect for aging premium wines.
We tried everything. Delicious, my friends! Although we are not exactly wine connoisseurs. Among the wines presented was a bottle from the elite series with a 10-year aging. It was three times more expensive than the others. I tried to admire it, but it just didn’t happen. In the end, we picked a few different but regular ones for about 10 euros per bottle. Though that’s not exactly cheap either. Cheers! 🥂 »
