« Lisbon is stunning, but if you venture 20-30 kilometers out, you can find charming little towns, untouched natural parks, and secluded spots where you can freely roam without the typical tourist crowds. It's possible to leave your car in a free parking area, sometimes spend hours exploring and soaking up the scenery, then enjoy coffee in a cozy little cafe—though be careful of the somewhat eccentric vibe of some locals 😄. Overall, Portugal leaves the impression of an untouched old Europe, where travelers can still discover hidden gems. »

« It seems we've hit the peak of the tourist season. But wait, there's still one more mountain left to conquer! Thankfully, there's a lift going up (because trying to hike up the hill could leave you gasping for air). The downside is that, like everywhere in Lisbon, the lift operates with significant queues. All the museums, monasteries, and tourist spots have huge lines. And this isn’t even peak season. So what's going on here during the summer? 😅 »
@annaduchenko
« I absolutely love this photo! 😍 It has a vibe of breath, lightness, and freedom... Or do you just see a red wall? 😄🤔🤭🤫 »
@tomk_karagodina
« Well, goodbye, Lisbon and Portugal. Not everything was perfect, but overall it left a positive impression. Cape Rock, green wine, cozy little villages, castles, and hiking in the hills 😅 - it's impossible to forget. »
@elena.srtn
« In Lisbon, the concepts of reusing and recycling are really taking off, and it can warm your heart to see eco-friendly initiatives 💚💚. For instance, the letters crafted from old waste containers look fantastic in photos! There are countless stores filled with souvenirs made from recycled materials. However, even with the abundance of plastic items—like straws and cups—the situation here remains quite troubling 😤. »

« Sunshine, sunshine and more sunshine!!!!!! And ohhhh my! 🌍☀️🌍☀️🌍☀️ »

« Lisbon is completely different in atmosphere compared to Porto. It's bigger, noisier, and has a bustling vibe, but it's all equally charming :) I discovered a bottle of wine from my birth year, a delightful find that was anything but ordinary – definitely a year to remember! 😊 »
@lerusnik
« Exploring the streets outside today 😊! We took a stroll around the areas of Shiadu and Boisha! It's the most tourist-friendly spot around. Perfect neighborhoods for shopping, coffee breaks, and just soaking in the atmosphere 😄. We decided to head to the Belém area in the evening, ride our bikes along the waterfront, and enjoy the sunset 🌅😍... »

« If a caramel existed that changed your taste, from a candy to heart, it would be similar to Lisbon. Walking through this place feels like holding a melting candy on your tongue—a sweet blend of chocolate, sour lime, and immediately a salty caramel with mint, resembling a delightful experience that leaves you wanting more.

You take turns and corners, where what you see is never what you expect. As you push uphill, the streets open up to views that sweep you away, making you feel alive: look, there's something beautiful for you! The glossy smoothness of the tiles and the rough texture of the walls, carried by the ocean breeze, create an artistic vibe... Patterns explode like a kaleidoscope, with images on the walls, heavy wooden doors inviting you in.

Windows adorned with oceanic decor lure tourists, while the dilapidated trams rattle on the tracks, the wind whistles alongside the river. It's both grand and market-like, cozy and tight, yet, just around the corner—a spacious mosaic adorned with countless intricate details. Lisbon 💖 »

« Guys, this place is now one of my top favorites – absolutely a must-visit! The views cannot be captured in just a photo; they don't do even a fraction of the real experience justice. Despite the strong winds that nearly whisked us off the deck, we managed to take in the stunning sights. The cliffs are incredibly impressive, more than you'd ever imagine from pictures. They tower above at about 65-80 feet!

From the lookout, I felt like I was a bird soaring around the cliffs, really hoping to fly there again tomorrow. In short, if you find yourself in Portugal, you know exactly where to go! 🌍✨ »
@sergeevakate
« I usually sip coffee in cozy cafes, somewhere down narrow streets... I love grabbing one of those fancy cups with fruits and enjoying it while strolling through places like the Champs-Élysées, right in front of the Eiffel Tower, or even high up in the mountains overlooking beautiful lakes, or by the ocean... and there's no rush... no need to hurry... just savoring the fresh air... delighting in the beauty... or feeling like a tiny grain of sand surrounded by nature's incredible creations. 😍

Therefore, the question of the perfect lunch remains a mystery to me. 🤔

But as for how to capture emotions, I definitely know that! 😉 »
@margosharapova
« Do you know what life is like in Portugal? It’s peaceful, slow-paced, and you can often find elderly people in cafés, sitting around tables all day long. Sometimes they switch from one café to another in the same neighborhood, where cozy little cafés are on every corner. And honestly, they don’t order much; they just sit in the warmth and comfort, reading newspapers, watching TV, or chatting with each other. They might order a glass of water, but usually, it’s just coffee—one single cup per day, which, let’s be real, they finish at their own leisurely pace. ☕️ »
@malyulka
« I spent a whole day in Belém hoping for some sunshine, and guess what? The sun came through just before sunset! 🌅

Even on weekends, this area is bustling, even during off-peak seasons. Families gather along the waterfront, riding bikes, flying kites, visiting museums, grabbing pastel de Belém, and just enjoying the beautiful promenade. It’s a vibrant atmosphere, with the stunning architecture and colors of the place. It feels like I’ve wandered onto the stage of a grand performance, where everything harmonizes perfectly. 🌟 »
@prioraman
« Winter, January, you hear? This story isn’t for surfers looking for gorgeous waves of the Atlantic Ocean during the chill of the year. Boards, wetsuits - and off you go into the waves. It’s breathtaking, almost surreal, especially when you look around, feeling like you’re in a scene from a movie.

Passing through such spots, you simply can't resist stopping, snapping a few photos, and, judging by the landscape, definitely not leaving your pup in the car 😅. It's beautiful, powerful, grand even. However, the ocean and the sea represent two entirely different worlds, and you only grasp this when you're standing right at the edge of the ocean itself. »
@mamatv6
« Whoa-whoa, Lisbon is awesome. Those who wake up early get to enjoy the beach almost all to themselves. First impression - the Portuguese like to party all night and wake up at 8 in the morning, just like the Spaniards. The ocean smells amazing. And the blue sky. And the breeze. There’s something special about having a coffee with a pinch of salt. The first thing you need to do? Hit the local markets for some fresh seafood, pastries and jamón. The minimum plan is to grab a bite at a food stall, and the maximum plan is to go all out with them ALL DAY LONG. 😊 »
@zaeskova_kseniya
« Well, I can say that the Portuguese coral family just loves to bask in the sun in these local spots - the atmosphere here is simply enchanting, and the place itself is charming, cozy, and well-maintained. 😌 »

« Today's revelation - a fantastic museum of carriages!
This isn't just promotional material, no, these are genuine pieces of art! 😍
Luxurious carriages with gold leaf and intricate carvings, adorned with sumptuous silks – this is how people have mastered the art of living beautifully!

« Oh my goodness! How delicious!
Cervejaria Ramiro is a gastronomic delight for seafood lovers, and even for those who are a bit picky like me! 🦐🦑
It's a must-visit if you're in Lisbon! 👌🏼 »

« I absolutely don’t understand why Portugal is more popular among travelers compared to other European countries. 🤔 It’s such an interesting place with its ancient culture and rich history, located on the edge of Europe, along the Atlantic. We visited in May, and the weather was just perfect! The food was delicious, with fresh seafood, including amazing shellfish, mussels, oysters, and incredibly tasty sardines. Just yesterday, we tried some of the most expensive shellfish in the world, and it was delightful. 🦪 The amazing part is that we got to taste it for free, courtesy of a local seafood place that was doing some sampling. It’s such an intriguing way of marketing!

The atmosphere here is quite casual, and the local cuisine is absolutely a mix of Portuguese, Mediterranean, Indian, and Japanese influences. It’s truly a rich experience. The people are very welcoming, with a lovely vibe all around. I came across a ton of hotels and charming spots throughout my stay.

As for the downsides, I’ll share that later. But let me tell you, Portugal is indeed fascinating! 🍷 »

« Ah, these yellow trams from Lisabon! 💛 Just visited the gorgeous Cafe Mundial on Sunday, and it became clear why taking photos inside wasn't an option. But outside, it looks like this 👇🏽 . . . »

« Today, as planned, I visited the St. George Monastery and the Cathedral of St. Sava 😊. This church is dedicated to St. Anthony, built on the same site where the saint was born. ✨ »

« I walked 21 kilometers today, hitting all my favorite spots. The shoes were not the most comfortable, and by the end of the day, my feet were sore all over, but it didn't stop me; I felt like the happiest person on Earth. 🙌 »
@danil_pt
« The atmosphere here is a vivid contrast to the real wanderings of life; in short, everything I love about the mountains is concentrated in Lisbon. You might find yourself focusing on the little things, like the rain, for instance, trash and dirt, total chaos. But the city in response throws you architectural wonders, charming bridges, beautiful views that connect tram lines with your hands and feet – it's truly amazing how it all comes together. »
@malyulka
« After the rain, everything looks brighter and more vibrant - it sparkles like tiles underfoot. And the air feels fresher than ever. So when you step on the Portuguese calçada, be careful, as you might not be looking at your feet; your attention will be drawn to the beautiful surroundings. Some folks may choose to hide from the rain beneath umbrellas, while others enjoy the fresh scent that follows a downpour.

The narrow streets of the old town definitely carry hints of incense. In the morning, combined with the aroma of coffee and fresh pastries, it creates a delightful atmosphere. Just be mindful of the cobblestones underfoot, as they can be slippery at times!

And as you wander, the sounds of traditional music and laughter fill the air, enhancing the experience even more. It’s a lovely way to connect with the lively spirit of the place while savoring its historical charm. »
@irynafotografia
« Today is a gloomy, rainy day, and for just a moment, I can't help but get lost in the vibrant colors. It feels like the grayness tries to wrap me up, and the sadness almost takes over; however, if you look around, within seconds, you're surrounded by a million bright hues. At every turn, you can spot green trees, blooming flowers, shrubs, and even little patches of grass. 😍 »
@victoria_krasa
« Lisbon is beautiful! Small cozy corners in Alfama, wonderful family-run restaurants, the scent of grilled fish at every turn, and those gorgeous old trams. And honestly, it’s simply impossible not to be enchanted by the variety of tiles that decorate the homes. The only downside is that cab rides definitely aren't worth it! The entire neighborhood is covered in cobblestones 😏 »
@iren_moscow
« I love good graffiti! Why let empty walls stand there? Painted ones are so much more interesting! 🎨 »
@panichenko.av
« Many streets in Lisbon remind me of Trampolin. It seems like something valuable "is worth a trip" and at the end of the quarter you might just fall straight into the sky. Too bad I forgot my camera, I couldn't check it out. 😊 »
@lizainn11
« Lisbon is a beautiful blend of European and Arabic cultures. Despite the number of attractions, the route is manageable on foot. It’s worth noting the hilly landscape – wear comfortable shoes.

Yes, the city is truly romantic, colorful, and unique...

Here are 10 things we did in Lisbon:
1. ✅ We took the Santa Justa lift and enjoyed views of Lisbon from above.
2. ✅ Strolled through the hills and narrow streets; it seems almost impossible to navigate here 😂
3. ✅ The main attraction in Lisbon is the historic tram 28; of course, we rode it!
4. ✅ We sat in charming cafés on the street, enjoying famous wines, pastries, and cocktails.
5. ✅ You can't visit without trying "prego" 😂
6. ✅ We learned about public transport – it's quite small and simple.
7. ✅ Found ourselves in an unpleasant situation, chatted with the police, and successfully got out of it 👌🏻
8. ✅ Dined at the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon, Cervejaria Ramiro; we were really lucky that there was no wait.
9. ✅ Took tons of photos and videos 😂 enjoyed the festive atmosphere of European Christmas.
10. ✅ Visited one more spot to fill our travel map.

Overall, Lisbon is a memory we’ll cherish forever 🔥 »

« In Lisbon, many houses are adorned with ceramic tiles. This gives them a vibrant and distinctive character, and these tiles protect the buildings from the elements. The most interesting part is that this type of tile has been produced for generations and is quite affordable. 😊 »
@zhenyashulgin
« Lisbon is a city of cool, colorful patterns. It's great when a city has its own unique feature that is also actively monetized. »

« Lisbon, or Lisboa as the locals say with a smile!!! We love it!!! »

« Lisbon is scattered with viewpoints all over the city, and they're all fantastic! 😊 »
@katyarules
« At first, the city might seem dull and gray. But that's a completely mistaken impression. Yes, for some reason the colors in Lisbon and along the coast feel somewhat washed out, even under a clear sky. It's as if there's a hint of mist everywhere. Yet, this hue is just one part of a larger palette in various proportions. When you come across buildings in different shades—yellows, greens, blues, and so on—they act like accent spots that beautifully complete the landscape. Strolling and wandering around the city is a true pleasure. Just make sure to wear comfortable sneakers!))) »
@ugnenko
« Lisbon: houses adorned with tiles, sidewalks paved with light stone, clothes drying everywhere. And the air is delightful, filled with oxygen, it smells amazing. »
@prioraman
« Finishing my time in Lisbon with this stunning evening view. The city is settling down, painting its streets with bright lights. And I can’t help but wonder: what is it that captivates me? It’s far from perfect. You don’t always feel safe here; it's common to be offered drugs on the street, many buildings have cracked walls, and cleanliness varies... But there are so many fragments of authentic Portuguese life. The old tram rolling through narrow streets, small restaurants where nothing changes for decades, "Obrigado" everywhere, the smell of roasted chestnuts, and let's not forget the traditional elements like azulejos on building walls and cobblestone piazzas... It’s only by putting both pictures together that you realize the imperfections also craft the unique image of Portugal's capital.

Moreover, it seems to me that Lisbon, despite its location, feels much closer to Brazil than to Spain. It’s not just about the language; it’s in the sights, the people, the cultures... It's all so interesting. And that's why I’ll be back here. And to a couple more towns in this country. Nice meeting you, I’m not saying goodbye. »
@marusimba
« Hello, Lisbon! Everywhere you look, there are flowers in every color of the rainbow, charming little houses, streets adorned with azulejos, and amazing street art. And all of this just a 10-minute taxi ride away - I'm already loving this city! 🌸✨ »

« Lisbon is absolutely stunning! 🌟 The architecture, the vibrant street life, and the rich history really make it a unique place. There's just something magical about wandering through its colorful streets and discovering hidden gems around every corner. The food is delightful, and I can't get enough of those pastéis de nata.
