« Belém is a historic district in Lisbon, situated along the banks of the Tagus River. Tourist attractions often blend seamlessly with park areas, creating a unique atmosphere. Traditionally, Belém was home to the city's elite, and even today, there's a palpable sense of wealth and grandeur in the air. »

« Lisbon (Lisboa) is the capital of Portugal and one of the oldest cities in the world. It's located at the mouth of the Tagus River.

The city center is small and compact, making it easy to explore. Built on seven hills, Lisbon offers plenty of fantastic viewpoints. You can spend all day going up and down the steep streets, or you could take advantage of the funiculars.

Tram 28 serves as a great sightseeing option, taking you through all the central streets and narrow alleys. »

« We visited the Elevador da Santa Justa, a lift in Lisbon that has been assisting pedestrians in overcoming the steep slope since 1902. It connects Rua do Ouro (at the bottom) with Largo do Carmo (at the top), linking the lower Baixa district with the higher Chiado. »

« The city is NOT designed for the average tourist. You can stroll through all the squares, visit every museum, and buy plenty of souvenirs, but you'll realize that there's nothing particularly special. The typical tourist program just won't cut it here. »

« Friends, don't hesitate to take a look! In the business district of Lisbon, there are three old twin houses. They used to be dull and shabby—until the local authorities, unable to find funds in the budget for restoration, invited graffiti artists to come in. They left behind dynamic, slightly surreal pictures, making these houses one of the new popular spots for tourists. The artwork is really cool, and while I'm not a graffiti expert, I definitely enjoyed it! 🎨✨ »

« Lisbon is a city of contrasts, as they say. Tourist attractions sit next to completely deserted streets, fancy restaurants are in proximity to aromatic kebab shops, and the homeless sleep on the steps of luxury hotels. And it all looks quite harmonious in this bustling city. »

« There are two aquariums in Lisbon - the Lisbon Oceanarium and the Vasco da Gama Aquarium. Given our limited time, we visited both. They are completely different, and each is stunning in its own way. »
