Getting Around
Metro
Barcelona's Metro costs €2.40 per ride and operates from 5am to midnight (and until 2am on weekends), conveniently linking key areas like La Rambla and Sagrada Familia. To save money, consider the T-Casual ticket (€11.35 for 10 rides) that allows for multiple users!
On Foot
Barcelona’s walkability is exceptional, with pedestrian-friendly streets like La Rambla and Gràcia, allowing you to explore without fare costs, but always keep an eye out for cyclists who share many paths. For a scenic route, stroll from the Gothic Quarter to Barceloneta Beach, soaking in the architecture while avoiding tourist traps for a true local experience.

« I had an amazing experience here! Everything for everyone! I really enjoy it... 😍🤗 »
« I walk through the most mystical area of Barcelona. 🥰 The Gothic Quarter is a truly unique place... The narrow, winding streets where the sun rarely shines make for perfect photo spots. 😅📸
You can feel the essence of entire epochs hidden away from the eyes of the bustling tourists in the tight alleys and small squares. I completely adore this place! For me, this is the true Barcelona! The ancient Romans and barbarians, Moors and first Christians—all have left their mark here, both materially and mystically, in the form of countless legends and myths. It was here that the Catholic kings Ferdinand and Isabella received Columbus after his discovery of America, and Pablo Picasso first showcased his work to the public. 😎 This place has seen inquisitions, heretics, and rebels, while anarchists destroyed the temples of the elite... »
« Barcelona — it's a vortex, you know? It wraps around you and takes hold of your soul, and you hardly even notice it. "You're talking like you've lost your mind." "But you're not wrong. Only places like this can create such a wild atmosphere that it's more than just a trip; it's something you absolutely have to experience." »
« What definitely needs to be done in Guell Park? First off, skip buying tickets for the paid area (it's just a complete tourist trap). Instead, enjoy a long walk through the free area (it's huge), and make sure to head up to the three crosses! 😊 »
« If you love panoramic views, you absolutely must check out the rooftop of the Barceló Raval hotel! 😃 This hotel is designed as a ten-story elliptical structure, wrapped in a mesmerizing metallic mesh. The construction is quite impressive, standing at around €16 million! 😅 The views from the rooftop (especially at sunset) will leave you breathless. The entrance is free! 😊 Enjoy the city panorama from the Barceló Hotel Terraza. »
« Barcelona in February. The most comfortable time for extended walks around the city. There aren't too many tourists, so you can calmly enjoy the sights and take beautiful photos. Today, it's +11°C here. ☀️ »
« What comes to mind when you think of Barcelona? Of course, the great Gaudí! His presence is felt everywhere, from the iconic buildings to the street lamps, and it just fills you with the spirit of the city. You simply can’t convey that overwhelming energy when you stand next to his masterpieces. It’s just amazing to take in everything that surrounds you. And it's hard to believe that all these incredible structures are real! 🌟 »
« In this moment of reality, I found free Wi-Fi 😂 The beauty here is unreal! Ugh, soon I'll have to leave, and just look at that sun, glowing so brightly. The sea today is calm and graceful, the air is pure and transparent, it's just heavenly! But how can one leave a place like this!? 😍 I must return to Barcelona, no doubt about it! 😘 »
« I’ll wrap up my notes with photos of the sights in Barcelona, the second most populous city in Spain and the capital of the autonomous region of Catalonia. I know that many who visit this city fall in love with it. There truly is some charm here. The old buildings with their stucco and small balconies, the amazing architectural masterpieces by the great Antoni Gaudí, parks, shops, and malls, souvenir stalls, and little cafes along the streets with tiny tables that made it a bit of a challenge for our large group to find a spot. All of this left very warm memories. I would be happy if I get to visit here again. In the photo, you can see the city from the highest point in Barcelona, Montjuïc Mountain, which stands at 569 feet. »
« In Barcelona, there are plenty of great beaches even within the city limits, not to mention the suburbs. 😊 This is in the evening. »
« What do I like about Barcelona? Well, the fact that you can take your dog almost everywhere! For example, today we went shopping, then to a little restaurant, and even watched a movie by the seaside. Overall, dogs are actively part of all activities here! 🐾✨ »
« Overall, the conclusion of today is this: Barcelona is definitely my city! Its diversity has left an amazing impression on me. This city combines many eras and styles. Everyone can find something here that speaks to them. 🌟 »
« What I love about Barcelona is the design of the shutters. »
« Barcelona is a great city where you want to live :-) »
« Barcelona from the height of the Tower of Passion is simply stunning. 🌟 »
« Barcelona, I will definitely return to you ♥ »
